STARRING: April Barnett, Mark Anthony Williams, Paulette Braxton, Alphonzo Williams

FILMMAKER BIO: Before the acting bug took a chunk out of April, she gained experience in other areas as a singer in a band, script supervisor, production assistant, wardrobe mistress, and yes, even a grip.   She also produced three short films in her hometown of Houston, Texas.   She is currently directing the play “Lobby Hero” to be staged at Playhouse West.

PRODUCTIONS NOTES: The film was originally scheduled to shoot for four days, Friday – Monday.   When my D.P. Brad Rushing (a very good friend of 15 years) informed me in the middle of the Friday shoot day that he had booked a job to shoot a Josh Stone music video in New York and had to be there on Sunday, we scrambled to shoot everything within two days.   During those two days of shooting Brad was going through a divorce and one of his dogs was hit and killed by a car.   I begged him to leave the shoot and take care of his personal affairs, but he was unrelenting in his dedication to see that the film got made.   April is currently in pre-production for another short that she has written.
